Janus Films participated in the restoration of this film and you would reflect that that alone would ensure high standards of quality. And for the most share it did. But unmentioned in all the reviews of this DVD is the fact that the best film of the three, Toby Dammit, does not have its English soundtrack included.

Terence Heed is English and he spoke his fraction in English.(and what an improbable bit of verbal it was) It fair ain’t the same thing in dubbed French by another actor. An earlier release of this film delivered the English soundtrack as an option but did not allow you to turn off the English subtitles! (Some of the people that build these things together are really lacking in simple, favorite sense.) Also the image quality on the previous release is feeble and not right intriguing. Image quality on this recent DVD is kindly. Rich color and very appealing. So the terror of it all is you are left with a very well done restoration with a rather principal detail inexplicably left out. The English soundtrack exists and isn’t this the whole point of DVD’s? I took a chance buying this DVD hoping for an improved version that fixed some of the problems on the earlier release.

The frustrating thing is that it is so stop to being there, but a French speaking Terence Ticket is objective absurd. Janus Films was also involed in the Criterion Collection unusual version of Amarcord and they did it perfectly. Everything is there. Wish they old-fashioned as worthy care on this one.

As originally conceived by Fellini, the Toby Dammitt segment was, imho, the greatest work he ever committed to film. Taut, lean, stylish and very effective. I saw the film when it was first released and am fortunate enough to have this segment on an dilapidated beta tape.

Beyond Terrence Stamp’s unbelievable delivery, is the crucial element of the english actor being alone and isolated in Italy by his language, slowly pushing him deeper into surrender and madness. All of this is lost in the modern French dubbed edition.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Spirits of the Dead! Click Here

(On the other hand, it must be a plus to have the first two segments, overdubbed into English for US release, attend to their current French. However, these segments are competent, or somewhat exciting at best, compared to wonderful finale.)

Please let Janus know that they have broken trust by butchering a huge artist’s masterwork.

I never concept they’d be able to pull this off, but at long last, Freaks and Geeks is available on DVD. The indicate aired briefly during the 1999-2000 season before NBC abandoned it to hasten an extra night of Dateline (shudder) . TV truly has become a tremendous wasteland in the time since. A friend of mine worked on the demonstrate and let me check out the discs. I was skittish they would screw up the DVD and do something dreary like pick out all the songs to set money (over 100 were passe) . It’s all there and it is truly awesome.

29 different commentary tracks (withhold in mind there were only 18 episodes) borders on the obsessive, but if you’re a geek, this is bliss. They got all the key cast members, including Linda Cardellini and James Franco, as well as writers, directors, television executives and even the parents of John Daley, Sarah Hagan and Martin Starr and some fans. There are some spacious bloopers and gradual the scenes clips where people are completely out of character. And they also included the modern audition tapes for the major characters, which are beautiful moving. If you go on the Freaks and Geeks website you can eye a couple clips including Samm Levine’s eminent impersonation of William Shatner that landed him a fragment on the exhibit.

In addition to this DVD, they also have a collector’s edition that comes with a yearbook and 2 more discs of extras. But that’s a runt edition they discontinuance selling in March 2004 and you can only glean it through their website. Haven’t seen that, but if it’s anything like this place, it will rock.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Freaks and Geeks – The Complete Series! Click Here

They obviously set aside in a lot of work on the DVDs. I’ve seen other TV collections and they perceive like they’ve been thrown together. Here, every menu on every disc has a different image from a scene. And every time you change menus (on EVERY disc) a different dialogue clip plays, followed by some of Mike Andrews’ unique compositions for the demonstrate. Some of them go on for a couple minutes and most of these are songs I’ve never heard before. I’m a hardcore fan and I was prepared to rip them if they screwed with the legacy of the point to….but this DVD blew me away. Freaks and Geeks will become the standard by which all other TV reveal DVDs will be judged.

Yes! F&G is finally coming out on DVD!

For those of you who weren’t lucky enough to peruse F&G during its all-too-brief bustle, you’ll soon have your chance to experience a moral television gem on DVD. Freaks & Geeks ran sporadically on NBC during the 1999-2000 series, and then in reruns on the Fox (now ABC? ) Family Channel. In short, it’s the chronicle of two siblings: Lindsay & Sam Weir, and their trials and tribulations as high school students in Michigan circa 1980. Lindsay is a junior and a passe overachieving whiz-kid who undergoes a crisis of self after the death of her grandmother, and tries to net herself as a fresh member of a clique of underachieving stoners. Her brother Sam is a sensitive, nerdy guy trying to create his plot through freshman year with a tight band of dorks and misfits.

As I write this, I realize that a brief summary doesn’t open to do justice to this multi-layered indicate. It’s hysterically amusing, poignant, often painful, and never tries to have the neatly tied-up generic sitcom ending. The secondary characters are as well realized as Sam & Lindsay, and really design the note special (including SCTV’s Joe Flaherty as the ambivalent Mr. Weir, Samm Levine as Neil, and Martin Starr as Bill Haverchuck) . There are so many moments on the reveal that I personally identified with, and I can’t imagine anyone who was subjected to the tortures of high school life that wouldn’t be able to at times. (Though it helps if you lived through the early 80’s or can connect with references to the Jerk, Dallas, Dungeons & Dragons, and/or Neil Peart of Hurry…) . I could sustain on going about the indicate, but I’ll let you score out the rest for yourself. Now, to the DVD…

The standard edition of the DVD is described in some detail here, and includes the 6 episodes that never aired on NBC, as well as many extras. However, especially if you are a fan of F&G, you owe it to yourself to check out the exiguous Deluxe Edition that’s available directly from the creators of the reveal at www.freaksandgeeks.com. Here’s the description from the site:

“In this Deluxe Edition, we achieve it all into an expanded 80-page foil-stamped and embossed yearbook presented in correct Freaks and Geeks style loaded with photos and memorabilia from the present. The yearbook is filled with personalized notes, tons of photos, even photos of many of you, script pages, a interrogate, a letter from Paul [Feig, creator of the show], a Q&A with me [Judd Apatow, exec. producer], details about every reveal, a letter from Mr. Rosso, poetry, rock and roll lyrics, reprints of articles about the explain, and lots more.

· three live “table reads” of some of our best episodes

· a one-hour Q&A with Judd, Paul & the entire cast at the Museum of TV & Radio in LA shot a few days before we got cancelled

· guidance counselor Jeff Rosso & Feedback live in concert

· a script that was never shot
· a special music and photo gallery

It runs for the steep designate of $120, but the diagram I figure it is, this is the only season of F&G you’re going to collect, so you may as well do it upright! However, you won’t go snide with either version, so do yourself a favor and check it out.

If you are looking for a Hi Def exploration of beaches, you will be disappointed. HD Moods Beaches is basically a “Living Wallpaper”. there are 6 tropical and 5 pacific beaches and all are in “Spicy” high def, so powerful that there are some tiny frame rate issues on my PS3. when they say Ultra Curious, they are not kidding. you can survey birds and butterflies flying from a distance with very microscopic grain and “NO” flashing.

The audio gives you the choice of : Natural, Air, and Breathe. decide natural or turn the volume down and play some of your hold music. Air and Breathe are poorly produced synth music that sounds creepy at times.

For the heed this is a must steal if you want to exhibit off you Hi Def plot and have other things going on at the same time.

I was disappointed in this dvd. It is somewhat amateurish in artistic quality. I could have done better myself and I am not a professional videographer. I am stretching to give it a 2 star rating.

Be forewarned that this review is primarily for the DVD release of Hellraiser, not the film itself. It’s no secret that Anchor Bay has done an safe job bringing classic and cult alarm films to DVD, even if it’s over and over again. The 20th Anniversary Edition of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser adds a few modern extras, while bringing over the same extras that were available from the older DVD release of the film. What’s novel here are the interviews with the film’s stars Doug “Pinhead” Bradley, Andrew Robinson, and Ashley Laurence. Other than that, it’s the same stuff that we had before, including the inspiring commentary by Barker and Laurence. If you already hold the previous release of Hellraiser, the recent interviews alone aren’t any reason to go out and grasp this up whatsoever. Anchor Bay has quite a habit of double and triple dipping their DVD’s (there is yet again another edition of the recent Foul Dull on the arrangement as well), and the 20th Anniversary Edition of Hellraiser is no different. As for the film itself, it’s an obliging and current use in violent panic that peaceful holds up 20 years later, and remains Clive Barker’s crowning film achievement. If you don’t already bear Hellraiser on DVD, then by all means remove this edition up, but as said before, if you already possess it, there’s no reason to hold this edition up too.

Hellraiser is an uncouth dread lover’s dream near moral. Clive Barker’s fresh vision marked a virtual rebirth of the genre at a time when slasher sequels were the fun, yet predictable, norm. Although the premiere setting for viewing this movie is a crowded theater of screamers (and sick puppies like myself who pick up humor in gore), one can level-headed execute a quite well-behaved attain watching this movie alone in the dismal. Some fright creators rely on blood and gore for its contain sake, others rely on the account itself to perform the desired achieve. Clive Barker is one of the few awe geniuses who can acquire copious amounts of gore an integral and considerable fragment of the record. Hellraiser can be deliciously ghastly, so those with musty stomachs should beware. It features rats; decayed, maggot-infested meat; and copious amounts of blood–and that’s objective the teaser. Later there are acts of cold-blooded abolish, human dismemberment by arrays of chains, a partially formed, pus-dripping, oozing carcass, and then the fabulous Cenobites themselves.

The movie at its simplest level is a retelling of a tale that goes benefit to Goethe’s Doctor Faustus and beyond–when you sell your soul to heinous forces, you will regret it. Frank Cotton is a substandard, uncaring man who has grown bored with life’s most low pleasures. When he hears about and eventually acquires a puzzle box which can begin the door to a unusual world of perverse pleasures, he finds out that one man’s pleasure is another man’s hurt under the tutelage of the Cenobites. Somehow, he manages to sprint the other world, and when his brother’s blood is spilled in his chamber of horrors, his body begins to reform itself. More blood is required to complete the job, and his brother’s wife Julia supplies it by picking up men at bars and bringing them home for Frank’s nourishment. The prim and genuine Julia was ravaged by Frank soon before her wedding to Frank’s brother Larry, and she enjoyed the experience so grand that she will do anything to obtain Frank restored to vaguely human-looking life. Larry’s daughter Kirsty, played by Ashley Laurence in her motion record debut, discovers what is going on and manages to glean her hands on the puzzle box. When she is introduced to the Cenobites, the fun truly begins.

The Hellraiser series degraded into a unlit mimicry of itself in later movies, but the recent vision personally sculpted by the masterly hands of writer and director Clive Barker is a apprehension masterpiece. The Cenobites are one of the most fresh, bewitching “abominable guys” ever dreamed up in the imagination of man. They really don’t appear too often in this film, and Pinhead (played by the stout Doug Bradley) is never referred to by this name even in the credits. When they do appear, with Pinhead enunciating such astronomical statements as “No tears, please. It is honest a kill of kindly suffering” and “We will ride your soul apart,” they are truly horrifying, mysterious, and larger than life. Less is definitely more when it comes to the prominence of Pinhead and his demonic associates in the movie.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Hellraiser: 20th Anniversary Edition! Click Here

Those who hate panic probably have sense enough to discontinue distinct of Hellraiser. Those of us who revel in obscene panic delight in watching it. If you are an intermediate-level apprehension fan initiated by the Roar and Freddy/Michael/Jason movies, here is your chance to really test your fear mettle.

Movie Title: The Most Dangerous Game
Average customer review:

The Most Dangerous Game is available for streaming or downloading.

Click Here to Stream or Download The Most Dangerous Game

The Most Risky Game is a salubrious early dismay film. It is a really creepy, chilling film with immense atmosphere. I always engage this sort of short-tempered awe to more recent films in the genre that depend on shocks and gore. The Most Perilous Game can really acquire under your skin with its central theme of a manhunt. I had always understanding, until watching the movie, that the `Game’ of the title was referring to a game like Poker or Baseball, but really it is game in the sense of colossal game, lions and tigers and such. It is man who is `the most uncertain game.’ For humans with their intellect are more of a threat to the hunter. This notion of a hunter matching his wits against a fellow human being is a deeply disturbing understanding.

The film has a really exquisite cast. Leslie Banks plays the villain Zaroff and is suitably defective without using histrionics. Joel McCrea shows why he would remain a leading man for the next thirty years and more. He had staunch star quality and a aloof acting ability similar to that of Gary Cooper. Fay Wray is exquisite in a role which gives her more to do than unprejudiced roar.

The Criterion DVD is very estimable indeed. The print is great. There is some occasional hurt, but it is hardly noticeable. The images are nearly always certain and enthralling and indicate off the unlit and white photography very well. Best of all however is the sound quality. Many early talkies have abominable sound with indistinct dialogue and lots of background noise. This DVD has tall sound and Criterion should really be congratulated. The DVD also has an audio commentary track by film historian Bruce Eder. His commentary is worth listening to as he is obviously keen and well informed about The Most Risky Game.

There has been some debate by previous reviewers of ‘The Most Risky Game’ about the quality of the digital transfer on to DVD. My believe concept is that the describe quality is outstanding. You do occasionally bag notice of objects intelligent, but the carry out is negliable. What really hits you is the unbelievable sharpness and clarity of the print. This isn’t dinky to the narrate either – the sound quality is equally as impressive. For a movie 70 years frail you simply could not hope for better. The only extra feature is a very superb commentary by Bruce Eder, whose knowledge of ‘The Most Risky Game’ seems limitless. This guy really knows his stuff and what’s more, he delivers it in a very relaxed and pleasant manner. The film itself is an action packed 63 minutes that is enlivened by a exquisite Fay Wray with mountainous assist from Leslie Banks and Joel McCrea. The relatively short running time actually helps gain a high level of suspense and interest – it feels like an 80 shrimp movie but with all the stupid stuff slit out! To mark ‘The Most Perilous Game’ as a classic is an exaggeration. It is unruffled a well-made, bewitching movie that has stood the test of time exceptionally well. The film itself deserves 4 stars, but the tremendous relate quality, sound and commentary manufacture this DVD marvelous of a 5 star rating.

This disc is aesthetic. Musically it is a jazz masterpiece. I had my reservations on this one. After purchasing and watching, it is money well, well spent. You gape each member of this 7 share ensemble reading off charts off this amazing Marsalis gather. When it comes time for the solo’s, the eyes are closed the charts are gone and they play with such astounding improvisation, it is unbelievable.

Buy,Download, Or Stream In This House, On This Morning! Click Here

What is a letdown though is when they pan the audience. Most of the folks in the front seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. The others in the befriend are the ones that hoot and holler. I guess we can figure out who are the “season ticket-holders” and who are the fans on this one. Me myself, I would give anything to breathe in this live performance. I would definitely be out of camera belief, I guess.

All in all, if you want to eye a very, very tight band performing a net that really makes Marsalis stand out…Then this is definitely for y’all. This was a welcome treat to survey. The filming is well done too. They focus in on who is leading at all times. BRILLIANTLY DONE JAZZ PERFORMANCE.

this was filmed in munich in 1992, and is a performance of that entire fantastic and unbelievable album…his septet is astonishingly talented, the sound quality is intellectual and i absolutely recommend this disc, which was released in 2006…relish

I’m so delighted I’ve finally got the last one and don’t have to wait and wait and wait for the next season! I recommend this to any Inuyasha fan. I’m going to list the episodes next for anyone who’s wondering and that’s all for this review. Hope I relieve some people who are disquieted that since this looks different and doesn’t say Dinky EDITION in broad letters in the title that it might not be legit, but I promise you it is. Says VIZ and everything. ;) My only regret is that the Inuyasha series stopped scheme before the demolish of the manga, but that has nothing to do with this boxset, since the anime series has only 167 episodes.

Episode 147+148 The Tragic Savor Song of Destiny

Episode 150 The Mysterious Light that Guides the Saint

Episode 151 Kagome’s Instinctive Choice

Episode 152 Protect and Plunder!

Episode 153 The Cruel Reunion of Fate

Episode 154 The Demon Linked with the Netherworld

Episode 155 The Demon Protector of the Sacred Jewel Shard!

Episode 156 Final Battle at the Graveside: Sesshomaru Versus Inuyasha!

Episode 157 End Naraku with the Adamant Barrage!

Episode 165 The Ultimate Key to Defeating Naraku

Episode 166+167 The Bond Between Them, Exhaust the Sacred Jewel Shard!

It’s hard to know where to commence with something like InuYasha. The series is renowned for having massive amounts of filler, an overly dramatic care for chronicle and, most importantly, an titanic horde of crazy fangirls.

Despite all of this, InuYasha, a self-proclaimed “feudal fairytale,” is unexcited a fun, amusing, and highly exciting anime that gives viewers something unique and arresting to be pleased. Sadly, this is the last season of the anime version, while the recent manga version lasted about twenty volumes past the ending point of the series. While the anime did its best to remain faithful to the unique, this constantly led to spacious amounts of “filler” while the anime waited for the manga to bag up, and the fact that the manga was not yet concluded when the anime ended leaves the series incomplete and the ending unsatisfying.

While this is not a fault of the anime itself, it most likely sprung from some kind of corporate yell at the studio producing the anime. They simply decided that enough was enough and that they could not wait around forever for the manga to slay. Despite this setback, the final season of InuYasha unexcited delivers non-stop action, involving characters, heart-wrenching drama, gut-busting humor, and a surprisingly recent reach for a shojo tale.

The episodes included here document the intense final battle with the inferior demon Naraku, Kikyo’s sudden return to the world of the living and InuYasha’s continued rivalry with his half-brother Sesshomaru. The drama continues at every turn as the stakes become higher and the final shard of the sacred jewel seems to descend further into Naraku’s hands.

This Runt Deluxe Edition of season seven is truly the ultimate American fan edition of the series. It includes a miniature edition InuYasha figurine (complete with Tetsusaiga), a special behind-the-scenes witness at the show’s finale featuring the Japanese cast, and a Q&A with the English language stutter actors.

The site comes with four complete discs that feature episodes 147-167 of the anime. Viewers also have the option of watching the English dub or the unusual Japanese version with English subtitles.

While purists will soak up the subtitled version, the English dub makes the series very accessible to more casual fans. The dub is also surprisingly well-done and the translation is very conclude to the original; there doesn’t even seem to be any censorship in the anime’s roar. The English snarl cast really did a astounding job of portraying the characters, particularly InuYasha, Kagome, and Miroku.

Even though this series tends to accept a terrible reputation because of its fans, it’s really a fun series. It may grasp a runt while to fetch past the uber-fandom and the howling fangirls, but if you can ignore all of that, InuYasha is a droll, captivating, gut-wrenching drama with complex characters in a truly modern setting. Try to at least give it a chance — you might objective be surprised.

The car lumber in Bullitt may seem a bit less impressive than it once did because filmmakers have been trying to top it for the best piece of four decades. More of a cat-and-mouse game than a demolition derby, its overshadowed by the film’s other action setpieces – a slay in a sterling house, a tense streak in a hospital and a large airport finale that Michael Mann ripped off wholesale in Heat. A beautifully constructed star vehicle for Steve McQueen at his best, it’s gorgeous worthy the prototype for every Hollywood cop movie that followed, but benefits from sterling casting (Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Simon Oakland, Robert Duvall), better characterisation than the norm and a obscene key near from director Peter Yates that makes the highs seem a lot more effective than they should. The plot’s not dreadful either, with Lalo Schifrin contributing a frigid find and Pablo Ferra a terrific main title sequence.

The 2-disc space certainly boasts an improved transfer over the modern single-disc release, but aside from Yates audio commentary, a vintage making of featurette and the trailer, the extras aren’t that film specific – a apt feature-length documentary on film editing and another on McQueen.

This “video board book” does a number of things very well. Powerful like a standard board book, it shows infants shimmering, high-contrast images. But this video version also plays soothing and sometimes spunky melodies. It also lets children hear speakers of more than half a dozen foreign languages, including Hebrew, Russian and Japanese.

This feature of the video is confusing to many parents of potential viewers. Will the video snort junior to relate one of the foreign languages on the tape? Not exactly. Will it obtain junior a small Einstein? Not exactly. What righteous is it, then?

What the video DOES do is abet the mind retain many of the nerve synapses in the brain which would otherwise be destroyed as the infant matures into a toddler.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Baby Einstein – Language Nursery! Click Here

Imagine a Bonsai tree, of which some of its puny limbs and branches are trimmed because they are not useful to the tree as a whole. The body does the same thing to unused mental synapses sometime around the first and second years of life. And they don’t grow abet.

Now contemplate about all the laughable comedy scenarios you’ve seen where a Japanese tourist says something like, “Herro, I’m rooking for Horrywood, Carifornia.” Why do his Ls sound like Rs? Because there is NO “R” sound (phoneme) in the Japanese language. And because our tourist never heard that sound in his infancy, he cannot now, as an adult, discern it from the phonemically-similar “L” sound.

Infants hearing a variety of phonemes foreign to English-speaking people at this young age will support the synapses that are sensitized (from birth) to these sounds. And this video does unprejudiced that.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Baby Einstein – Language Nursery! Click Here

So while the video will not recount junior the foreign language, if he tries to learn the language later, he will have an easier time of it, because he will be sensitized to that language’s sounds. And while junior perhaps will not be an Einstein for watching, he will advance away from the experience with more synapses in his brain than had he not watched.

Also be aware that none of this is pop psychology — it is well-researched and tested fact, taught in most undergraduate and graduate psychology, speech and linguistics classes today (Contemplate the producer’s Web spot for details) .

Finally, as other reviewers have said better than I have, the video is a lot of fun for you and junior to leer together! And perhaps THAT is the selling point for prospective parents who want the best for their slight ones.

Okay…I must admit that my son is a Baby Einstein junkie! He was very fussy until he was three-months-old and Baby Bach was literally the only thing that saved my sanity on some days. Now that he is past the one-year milestone, he has the entire Baby Einstein library. He particularly loves the Baby Dolittle tapes and will explore them again and again.

We were contented to search for a recent title to add to our collection and waited patiently for the release date. I must say, I am a bit disappointed overall.

First, the video seems a lot shorter than the other ones. Maybe it’s because I bought the DVD this time and am veteran to the “commercial” at the destroy of the tapes. My son insists on watching through to the “commercial” on the tapes, as even they absorb his attention.

Second, the hastily editing is more MTV than Baby Einstein. Our children have dwindling attention spans as it is. Disney’s hands are ALL OVER this video. If you explore the Disney Channel, it’s the same feeling. More substance and less flash would do this video suited. Also, Baby Neptune lacks the panache of, say, Vincent Van Goat (Baby Van Gogh) or Jane (World Animals) .

Last, it objective didn’t seem to enjoy my son’s attention like other Baby Einstein titles. Starting with Baby Beethoven, the fresh utter at Disney seems to have timid the organic quality of the fresh tapes. To be unprejudiced, I miss Sierra and Aspen on this tape. It helped with the “from my house to yours” feel of previous titles. The puppets also seem to be lacking in this video. The interaction of the puppets with other puppets or the children is charming on previous videos.

On a distinct effect, I recommend the DVD for the relate play feature if for nothing else. I don’t stick my child in front of these tapes for hours at a time, but we often have them on in the background when we are playing together. Aloof, when you need a video babysitter to regain the dishes done, having this option is a lifesaver!

I see forward to the Cramped Einstein series in the works for older children. I reflect these tapes will be a touchstone for my child’s generation, considerable like “School House Rock” or “Free To Be You And Me” was for mine.

… whether or not you have kids. It has some moments that might construct a four-year-old cling to an adult, but every kid I know likes it. No guns, no bloody fights, no chases, and it level-headed holds their interest.

There’s plenty here for an adult – “dotty grandma” isn’t a completely silly character here. She’s not objective a tragic figure of senility, either, though she’s some of both. Mostly, she’s honest making her draw through each day the best she can, and better than people seem willing to absorb. Most of the other characters are similarly on the edge but muddling by well enough, with a puny succor from their friends.

I honestly can’t call this a science fiction movie, despite its SF elements. It’s sweet (almost sappy) and silly, the poor-but-honest folk pick up out over the thugs and defective corporations, and they all live happily ever after. Well, for now, at least.

If there’s ever a list of “most under-rated movies”, this one gets my vote. I like it.

This 1987 minute sentimental ditty was utterly irresistible to the public, even as critics panned it as too schmaltzy. It concerns a squadron of slight UFOs who come on the room of a NY apartment building, one which is about to be razed as soon as the owners can manage to evict the quirky bunch of tenants. The tenants include Hume Cronin and Jessica Tandy (always and forever a winning pair) as well as a guy who plays a mentally (or emotionally – or maybe both) disabled man who speaks only in station phrases from commercials or TV jingles or product tags, such as that of the title: Batteries Not Included. As the tenants band together to set the lives of the runt aliens, including a spine-tingling scene in which one gives birth, the aliens advance to the rescue of the folks in worry of eviction – and the tenants, previously a disparate bunch, approach together to make a community.
